Offshore Helper / Utility Worker

Felix Industries provides fabrication, welding, and maintenance services on offshore oil and gas platforms. Crews report to our shop or the dock before heading offshore for each hitch. This is physically demanding, outdoor work, and we hold it to a high standard of quality and safety.
This role involves offshore hitches, which may require being away from home for up to a week at a time.
What you'll do
- Assist welders and fitters with material handling, fit-up, and tending
- Grinding, cutting, surface prep, and cleanup
- Run hand and power tools
- Turn wrenches: bolt-ups, disassembly, reassembly
- Support rigging and lifting operations
- Keep the work area clean and safe
What we're looking for
- Mechanically inclined
- Reliable, on time every day
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random testing
- Able to pass a physical
- Able to work at heights and over water
- Willing to travel offshore by boat or helicopter
- Works safely and takes direction
Experience that helps
- Mechanical or industrial maintenance
- Construction
- Plumbing or pipefitting
- Electrical
- Refinery, marine, shop, or prior offshore work
