Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Restaurant Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support diverse dining options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Handle food with care, using proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Follow all food industry guidelines for hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience is required, ideally in fine dining or high-volume settings.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service is essential.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are highly valued.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, catering operations, and food handling procedures is important.
