We have immediate openings for Packaging/Mixer Operators on the DAY Shift with an excellent company in the Enoree/Woodruff area. Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shifts (7:45am - 8:00pm), 3-4 days/week and every other Weekend (2-2-3 schedule). Overtime is available.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour to start

Responsibilities:
- Must be willing and able to be a Mixer Operator
- Must be able to Package product
- Must be able to lift up to 40-50 pounds continuously throughout the shift
- Must be able to correctly complete documentation during the shift
- Must have strong attention to detail to assure product is packaged correctly
- Ensure compliance with all facility SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policies and procedures.
- Ensure conformance and support with facility quality management system.
- Enter test results, material confirmations in SAP.
- Fills containers with completed mixes, palletizes, and transports to stage area.
- May extract samples for in-process and final quality testing.
- Enters information required on manufacturing instructions or run sheet and completes necessary paperwork for documentation.
- Maintains accurate inventories, performs production reporting, inventory transfers, tally card process, and picks components when batch is complete utilizing the operating system.
- Reports abnormal conditions of batches and machines to Supervisor.
- Employ 5S and follow visual standards within the department.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards including cleaning equipment and general work area, polishing, sweeping, trash removal, assure all equipment/tools/RM’s are stored in proper locations, and no aisle, fire extinguishers, or emergency exits are blocked.
- The activities of this position have the potential to have significant environmental impact. Conformance with all Health, Safety and Environmental Management System policies and procedures is mandatory.
- Will be trained in grounding and bonding procedures to control static electricity.
- May be requested to perform operator preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Will handle both hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with procedures.
- May be required to adjust work hours and/or work overtime to meet business demands.
- Obtain input from Shift Leader, Production Team Leader, and/or Plant Supervisor for the tasks required for the day based on schedule.
- At a minimum, will certify to the below department and company-wide SOP’s, additional SOP’s training may be required per department.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing and/or Mixer Operator experience is a PLUS
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Leadership skills
- Team Oriented
- Client testing will be conducted
- Background/Drug screen will be completed
- Must be able to work in a non climate controlled environment
- Must be able to work some weekends and overtime
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
- Adhere to all safety policy and procedures
- Maintain a clean work area
