About the Role
As a Field Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving diverse building issues across various commercial sites. You will utilize your technical expertise in troubleshooting and repair to ensure facility integrity while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive repairs on building components including doors, hardware, walls, and fixtures to maintain optimal site functionality.

Perform skilled trade tasks such as drywall patching, painting, framing, and finish carpentry to uphold professional aesthetic standards.

Diagnose electrical and plumbing malfunctions, performing minor repairs where appropriate to minimize facility downtime.

Install essential equipment, signage, and shelving units to support client operational needs.

Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections to proactively identify and mitigate potential system failures.

Document site conditions, repair scopes, and material requirements through digital work-order systems to ensure accurate project tracking.

Coordinate with internal support teams to escalate complex issues requiring specialized trade intervention.
Qualifications-
3+ years of professional experience in commercial maintenance, construction, or general facilities repair.

Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall finishing techniques.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex building issues.

Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Competency in using digital tools, including smartphones, email, and work-order management software.

Physical capability to perform field tasks, including ladder work, heavy lifting, and navigating industrial environments.

Prior experience supporting multi-site commercial, retail, or industrial facilities.

Demonstrated ability to perform site assessments and estimate material requirements for follow-up repairs.

Current OSHA 10-Hour certification.

Experience with HVAC or advanced mechanical troubleshooting.

Background in responding to national or high-volume service work orders.
