Job Overview
Our team is looking for individuals, who have a drive for helping young children grow and thrive, to join us at Storybook Daycare!
Previous daycare experience is not required, but is a plus. An ideal candidate would be responsible and reliable, as well as patient, kind and caring, and have a passion for nurturing young hearts and minds.
We are willing to work with unique availability hours, as is feasible. Our administration strives to be flexible and understanding, to create an enjoyable work environment where staff are comfortable and have a desire to do the work that needs to be done.
Pay is $11.00/hour through the training process. After completion of this process you would be eligible for a raise based on reliability, obtaining qualifications, goodness-of-fit, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Supervise children's activities to ensure their safety
- Follow and maintain classroom routines
- Monitor and manage children's behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Implement lesson plans and activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and coworkers regarding children's progress, classroom needs, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
