Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition activities, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees through comprehensive orientation programs.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data, preparing documentation, and coordinating review schedules.
- Contribute to employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries, facilitating communication, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Manage benefits administration tasks such as enrollment assistance, benefits inquiries, and record keeping in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support HR projects related to workforce management, organizational design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment law regulations including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers’ compensation, and other legal standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and HR legal compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with benefits administration, payroll processing, data collection, and reporting using Excel data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law as well as regulatory compliance management practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
