Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Emerald Pediatrics family. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires a strong interest in pediatrics, understanding of medical assisting, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures
- Vaccines, breathing treatments, lab specimens, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in taking vital signs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
