Overview:
We need a Senior Design Checker to review mechanical drawings for accuracy and manufacturing readiness. You will work with engineers and shop personnel to update drawings on the fly, apply design standards, and manage changes in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Review Drawings: Check mechanical layouts for errors, completeness, and accuracy.
- Update Models: Use SolidWorks to update part models, assembly models, and drawings.
- Collaborate: Work directly with engineers and manufacturing teams to fix design issues.
- Pick Parts: Select standard commercial parts that fit performance needs.
- Follow Standards: Apply GD&T principles and ensure designs meet ANSI 14.5 and military standards.
What You Need:
- 10–15 years of CAD design checking experience.
- Degree in drafting/design or equivalent work experience.
- Expert skills in SolidWorks (Routing, Sheet Metal, Weldments, PDM).
- Strong knowledge of machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and GD&T.
- Great communication skills and the ability to adapt to fast-changing project goals and requirements.

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
