As an Inpatient Hospice RN, you’ll provide exceptional nursing care and emotional support to patients and families receiving hospice services in an inpatient setting. In this role, you will be a trusted guide and advocate for patients and families by:

Delivering compassionate, skilled nursing care in an inpatient hospice setting

Performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and monitoring changes in condition
-
Educating families and caregivers on care needs, symptom management, and next steps
-
Partnering with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans
-
Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and loved ones
-
Leading and supervising LVNs, hospice aides, and support staff
-
Coordinating seamless care transitions and discharge planning when appropriate
-
Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
-
Helping create a calm, safe, and dignified environment for every patient

Current RN license in the State of Texas
-
1+ year of RN experience preferred

Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

Ability to work with compassion across diverse backgrounds and family dynamics

Strong leadership, organization, and collaboration abilities
-
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
