We are conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of one of our highly respected nonprofit clients seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for community-based Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services throughout the Pittsburgh region.

Position Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple community-based programs.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional management teams.
- Drive quality improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, staffing, and key performance indicators.
- Foster a culture centered on person-directed services, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop strong relationships with families, referral sources, community partners, and funding agencies.
- Support organizational growth initiatives while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Executive or senior leadership experience within Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related nonprofit environment.
- Strong operational leadership, budgeting, and team development experience.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania human services regulations is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead change, inspire teams, and achieve measurable operational results.
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.
