Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by providing high-quality service, crafting delicious beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service while maintaining quality.
- Assist with banquet service and catering events as needed, showcasing versatility in various settings.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Stay informed about drink trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
