We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team!
On-site weld test during interview process. Make sure to bring a hood, gloves, pliers and tape measure.
Our shop is located in Midland, GA. We work Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 5:30PM. With occasional overtime on Friday and Saturday 7:00AM - 3:30PM. We are currently working Friday's, so you'll get 8 hours of overtime a week.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in welding, manufacturing, and fabrication (minimum of 3 years job experience required)
- Ability to MIG weld, read blueprints, fabricate. TIG, mechanical knowledge, and stainless steel experience is a plus but not required
- Skilled in using hand & power tools such as hammers, wrenches, grinders, saw, shear
- Must provide welding hood, hand tools, and steel-toe boots
Responsibilites:
- Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and other welding techniques to join various metals
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Fabricate custom components such as structures, skids, piping systems, and more
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
