This position is responsible to the Food Service Manager, Grayling High School. It involves preparing, portioning, and serving food for the high school food service program and for other events and serving sites to meet meal requirements and standards of food safety, as requested; stocking the meal serving line; completing required portions of production records; coordinating with the manager to acquire necessary food and supplies; washing and storing dishes, flatware, utensils, and pots and pans; stocking shelves; operation and general cleaning of the food service equipment and work areas; and may include working cooperatively with other cashiers to operate the debit account machine, handle money transactions, and prepare daily reports with speed and accuracy.
