Job Summary: Roll mats and prepare for distribution
Role Priorities:
- Bring mats from wash floor to dumping area.
- Pick up mats from floor and place on mat roller.
- Ensure cleanliness of machines and work area.
- Assist in maintaining the machines are working properly by informing Supervisor who will make minor repairs to equipment and requisition major repairs to Maintenance.
- Ensure quality of product and meet daily production quantity goals.
- Work in other areas of department as necessary.
Role Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
- Training period of 2-4 weeks to become familiar with roller, pieces processed, company standards, and to attain normal efficiency.
- Assist Supervisor in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, and quality control.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Prolonged use of arms and legs.
- Repetitive grasping of hands.
- Lifting of mats up to 10lbs consistently, up to 35lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- Pushing and pulling of carts.
- Also twisting, bending, turning, squatting, and walking.
- Repetitive work.

Work Environment:
- Inside typical plant environment- can be hot and humid; must be aware of safety protocols and avoiding injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools.

- General work hours are Monday through Friday.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
