Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment in residential or commercial settings, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, or clients. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency
- Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, waste disposal, and maintaining overall hygiene in all areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring guest or resident satisfaction
- Handle light cooking tasks as needed to support residents’ or guests’ needs in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances and fixtures, including sinks, countertops, and appliances such as ovens or refrigerators in residential or hospitality environments
- Assist with custodial responsibilities in larger facilities or commercial settings to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects safely, and operating cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with housekeeper management practices is a plus for supervisory roles
- Experience with carpet cleaning tools or specialized cleaning equipment is desirable
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality settings is highly valued
