The Town of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking Swim Instructors!
As a swim instructor, what will I be doing?
Duties include but are not limited to: teaching and conducting all assigned levels of ARC Swim Lessons, setting up and taking down equipment, preparing daily lesson plans, completing all department and ARC paperwork, explaining pool rules, maintain accurate records for American Red Cross and Parks & Recreation Department.
What are the requirements?
Swim Instructor(s) should have a good knowledge of aquatic programs, equipment and rescue techniques with an ability to establish and maintain good relations with the Town staff, volunteers, as well as the general public. Must be at least 16 years of age. Water Safety Instructor Certified preferred but experience can be substituted. Current CPR, Lifeguard Training, and First Aid certification is required.
How will I be compensated?
All swim instructor positions are part-time, hourly position with no benefits.
Swim Instructor(s): $17.53-$18.60 per hour
Selected candidates will be subject to a background check.
