Position Description: Draftsmen Position, CAD, Inventor & CNC operator
Job Location: This position is located in Snyder, Texas
Plastic Welding & Fabrication specializes in process tanks, chemical containment, and heating systems for the industrial surface treatment processes. We are seeking a Draftsman to assist in the development and documentation of our products. The ideal candidate is perceptive, disciplined, and capable of working collaboratively in a small office environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design Support: Work directly with the owner/designer on all active projects
- 3D Modeling: Utilize Inventor for 3D solid modeling of equipment and assembly processes
- Technical Documentation: Prepare drawings for in-house manufacturing, and customer proposals
- Office & Shop Assistance: Support the team by assisting with tasks such as inventory, and routing phone calls
- Communication with current customers
- Assist sales as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Software Proficiency: 5 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling software
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and customers
- Software Literacy: Must be familiar with Microsoft's Office products
- Professionalism: Must be self-motivated, able to self-monitor, and open to receiving constructive criticism
- Manage and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects providing good follow-through and attention to detail

- CNC Operation: Ability to set up and operate a CNC sheet router
- Technical Setup: Experience generating G-Code filer with Inventor CAM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
