Kuberski Brothers Lawn Care is growing, and we're looking to add two Landscape Enhancements Crew Members to our team.
This crew focuses primarily on smaller landscape enhancement projects and one-day jobs for our residential and commercial clients. You'll work on a wide variety of properties completing projects that make an immediate difference in how a property looks.
Most days will consist of projects like refreshing landscape beds, installing mulch or decorative rock, trimming shrubs, installing plants, cleaning up overgrown landscaping, installing edging, and completing other small landscape improvements.
When larger landscape projects require additional manpower, you'll also have the opportunity to work alongside our landscape construction crew and assist with patios, retaining walls, drainage projects, grading, and other larger installations.
If you like variety and don't want to do the exact same thing every day, this is a great position.
What You'll Be Doing
The majority of your work will include:
- Mulch installation
- River rock and decorative rock installation
- Landscape bed cleanups and renovations
- Shrub trimming and pruning
- Weed and volunteer tree/plant removal
- Plant and shrub installation
- Landscape edging installation
- Removing and replacing landscape fabric
- Small landscape tear-outs
- Sod and grass seed installation
- Property cleanups and touch-ups
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Fall leaf cleanup
- Loading and hauling landscape materials
- Jobsite cleanup and debris removal
- Other small landscape enhancement projects
You'll also occasionally assist our landscape construction team with larger projects such as:
- Retaining walls
- Paver patios
- Landscape steps
- Drainage projects
- Grading
- Larger landscape installations
- Other hardscape and construction projects

You don't need to be a master landscaper, but you do need to be dependable, willing to work, and willing to learn.

Experience & Qualifications
Previous landscaping, lawn care, construction, or outdoor labor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Mulch and rock installation
- Shrub trimming
- Plant installation
- Landscape bed maintenance
- Landscape edging
- Sod or grass seed
- Skid loaders or compact equipment
- Trailers and landscape equipment
- Pavers or retaining walls
Additional requirements:
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work throughout the day
- Ability to lift and move landscape materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in Iowa weather
- Ability to safely use hand tools and landscape equipment
- Reliable transportation to work
- Valid driver's license preferred

This Position Is a Great Fit If...

Instead of spending weeks on the same construction site, this crew will typically move through smaller projects and enhancements, often completing a project in a day and moving on to something different the next.
You'll get experience with a wide range of landscape work while still having opportunities to participate in our larger landscape and hardscape projects.
