Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety protocols.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age laws and responsible service policies.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems while performing basic math for accurate change and receipts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Keep track of inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support team members during peak hours in a fast-paced environment such as nightclubs or food industry events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred.
- Previous retail math or hospitality experience enhances your ability to manage sales effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or catering functions.
