Overview
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated General Manager to lead our Jersey Mikes location. This role is all about inspiring your team, delivering top-notch customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and front-of-house activities.
- Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and minimize waste.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Train staff on food handling, safety protocols, customer service techniques, and operational procedures.
- Conduct staff interviews, schedule shifts, and supervise team performance to foster a positive work environment.
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies for increased profitability.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting training sessions.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and health regulations across diverse dining environments including casual dining and catering.
- Ability to handle inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and engaging with customers.
- Background in culinary or hotel management is a plus; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is beneficial.
