About the Role
Legacy Ensurers is a life & health insurance agency looking for licensed agents to join our sales team. Every lead you work — whether it's the free aged data we start you with, or leads you purchase going forward — has already shown interest or reached out, so this is warm outreach, not cold calling or door-knocking. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
What You'll Do
- Contact and follow up with leads — starting with free aged data, then leads you purchase directly as you grow your pipeline
- Conduct needs-based insurance consultations by phone or video
- Present and close life and health insurance policies
- Complete required carrier paperwork and compliance documentation for each sale
- Participate in ongoing sales training and mentorship sessions
Compensation
95% first-year commission on issued premium; no renewal commission. No draw or base pay. This is a fully commission-based, 1099 independent contractor role — income is tied directly to production.

Requirements
- Active life & health (2-15) insurance license in Florida — required, no exceptions
- Typically 40+ hours/week; schedule is self-directed
- Willingness to invest in purchasing your own leads to sustain and grow pipeline beyond the initial aged data
- Reliable phone and internet access
- Independent contractor (1099) — sets own hours and work methods
