Duties
- Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of deck railings according to project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install various building materials including wood, metal, and composite components
- Follow blueprint specifications and construction plans meticulously to ensure safety standards and aesthetic goals are met
- Install posts, balusters, handrails, and other railing components with attention to detail and structural integrity
- Experience in TimberTech Impressions Railing, Ultralox Aluminum Railing, and Westbury Railing is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on building material installation or carpentry
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices like tape measures, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of building codes related to railing systems and outdoor structures
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely
- Prior work involving deck railing installation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
