Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring that our patrons receive prompt, attentive service while enjoying their meals in a fine dining environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS or OpenTable, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for food preparation and delivering high-quality service is highly valued.
