Job Summary

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation components according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble and install equipment.
- Perform equipment repair using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; diagnose issues related to plumbing, refrigeration leaks, or mechanical failures.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks involving HVAC systems, appliance repair, boiler servicing, and general mechanical repairs.
- Operate vehicle safely for transporting tools or equipment to job sites.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local building codes; document work performed for quality assurance records.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, technical drawings, or HVAC design plans.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, refrigeration technology and mechanical maintenance procedures.
- Field service background involving appliance repair, property maintenance or equipment troubleshooting in commercial or residential settings.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, welding skills, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration components; ability to read technical manuals is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
