Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for applying joint compound, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional appearance. Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints with accuracy and efficiency
- Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work
- Texture drywall
- Install vog panels on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
- Repair drywall cracks and retexture to match.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as taping knives, sanders, and drills to complete finishing tasks
- Collaborate with Office and Customers on a consistent basis
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly
- Measure, cut and install Trim
- Touch up repairs
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall taping, finishing, or related construction roles with site experience preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needed
- Skilled in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and related finishing techniques
- Familiarity with construction plumbing, water damage restoration, mold remediation, masonry, remodeling, flooring installation, tile laying, airless paint spraying, metal stud framing, door hanging, handyman tasks, construction painting, fixture installation, water damage restoration or restoration industry experience is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different trades
