Compassion Construction is an established, growing general contractor specializing in insurance restoration, luxury remodeling, roofing, interior design, and commercial construction. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator / Insurance Restoration Administrator to join our team at our Southlake Design Center.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring our restoration and remodeling projects move efficiently from the initial insurance claim through project completion. The ideal candidate has previous experience working for a restoration contractor, general contractor, or insurance restoration company and understands the fast-paced nature of construction administration.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, mortgage companies, and subcontractors
- Assist with insurance claims, supplements, approvals, and carrier documentation
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines
- Prepare contracts, change orders, work authorizations, and project documents
- Process purchase orders and invoices
- Assist Project Managers with project coordination and administrative support
- Schedule inspections, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
- Provide proactive customer communication throughout each project
- Help monitor project budgets and job costing
- Support office operations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of experience in construction administration, restoration, or insurance restoration
- Experience working with property insurance claims
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills
