Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and cash drawer management
- Provide product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves and merchandising products attractively
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store area, including grocery sections if applicable
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining phone etiquette
- Assist with inventory management and participate in product demos to promote new items
- Support in supervising team members when needed, fostering a positive work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
- Prior experience with grocery store operations or retail sales transactions is beneficial
