Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner interested in leading the urgent care service line within a long-standing, established facility in Gresham, Oregon.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to run the urgent care, help shape the clinical workflow, lead the patient experience, and grow.
The facility already has an established pain management practice, medical doctors, chiropractic care, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, and an on-site ambulatory surgery center focused on interventional pain procedures. The urgent care will complete the care continuum by serving patients at the urgent stage of illness or injury, while the broader facility supports acute recovery, rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and interventional treatment when needed.
Our model is built around serving patients across different timelines of pain and injury:
Urgent Care: Immediate evaluation and treatment for urgent injuries, illnesses, lacerations, work injuries, auto accident injuries, and other same-day needs.
Acute Care and Recovery: Chiropractic care, soft tissue treatment, physical therapy, and therapeutic rehabilitation for patients recovering from injuries.
Chronic Pain Management: Established pain management physicians and an on-site ambulatory surgery center for patients who require advanced evaluation or interventional pain procedures.

Responsibilities
- Lead and help run the day-to-day operations of the urgent care service line
- Provide high-quality urgent care services to patients
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Treat work injuries, auto accident injuries, lacerations, sprains, strains, and common urgent care conditions
- Perform minor procedures, including sutures, laceration repair, splinting, wound care, and related procedures
- Order on-site X-rays and rapid tests
- Help develop urgent care protocols, workflows, and patient care processes
- Work closely with support staff to create an efficient and professional patient experience
- Collaborate with chiropractic, rehabilitation, pain management, and surgical teams when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Help grow the urgent care through excellent care, leadership, and operational ownership
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Nurse Practitioner with urgent care experience
- Comfortable being in charge of urgent care clinical operations

- Strong communicator with patients, staff, and other providers
Required Experience
- Experience managing common urgent care conditions
- Experience with work injuries and auto accident cases preferred
- Experience with minor procedures strongly preferred
Compensation
- $150,000-$180,000 Salary

Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Oregon, or ability to obtain Oregon licensure
- Urgent care experience
- Strong clinical judgment
