Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Lube and Tire Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and replacements using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct wheel alignments and tire services to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, fluid checks, and belt replacements
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to safety standards
- Engage with customers to explain services performed and recommend additional maintenance or repairs as needed
- Support the team with general maintenance tasks around the shop to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment
- Experience with oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic sales skills to recommend additional services when appropriate
