We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our distribution center by managing the flow of goods and ensuring accurate inventory control. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling and placement.
- Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that products are selected according to customer specifications.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, adhering to best practices for safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $10.50 - $11.00 per hour
