Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. This dynamic role involves monitoring the lake and play areas around the HOA community beach. conducting patrols, managing access control, and responding swiftly to emergencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and confidence. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security protocols are maintained.
- Monitor entrance gates to ensure that they are in working order.
- Control access points using access control systems, verifying identities of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond promptly to incidents by following established emergency response procedures.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events.
- Perform foot patrols around the entire lake and recreation areas showing strong security precense.
- Assist in conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred.
- Knowledge of report writing and good customer service skills.
- Ability to perform complete foot patrols and staying vigilant.
- Strong understanding of security regulations, incident report writing standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
- Physical fitness to perform duties such as, prolonged standing or walking during patrols.
