Sage Behavior Services is looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist/ SLP to join our team of highly skilled behavior analysts as an independent contractor or very part-time employee. We currently provide applied behavior analysis in our clinic and in homes throughout Orange County to children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, autism, Down Syndrome, and learning disabilities.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate licensed Speech Language Pathologist to expand our clinic services. The SLP will provide Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers from birth to three years old.

The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP will work to assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency.
Job duties include:
- Evaluating patient's speech and language abilities and level of function
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that the patient can fulfill their educational, vocational and social roles
- Developing treatment plans, including short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team inclusive of Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and family
- Keeping written documentation including evaluations, daily notes and weekly summaries
- Administers speech therapy program utilizing specialized therapeutic technique and/or equipment
- Recommends communication devices/aids as indicated.
- Maintains clinical competency in speech language pathology practice and theory.
- Maintains contracted hours per department standards
- Performs other duties as required to facilitate the delivery of speech language pathology services.
- IEP attendance may be required.
Skills & Requirements
- Must have graduated from an accredited school.
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
- Current CPR certification.
- Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
- State of California license as a Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- At least one (1) year of pediatric experience
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable
