We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Auto Transport Driver to safely transport vehicles using a Ford F-350 with a 50-foot wedge-style auto hauler trailer on the road. Drivers will handle pickups and deliveries for dealerships, auctions, brokers, and private customers.
Schedule: Monday - Saturday
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Ford F-350 with a 50’ wedge auto hauler trailer
- Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles safely
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Verify vehicle condition and complete inspection reports/photos
- Properly secure vehicles using straps/chains following DOT regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Plan routes efficiently and maintain delivery schedules
- Maintain ELD compliance and required logs
- Report maintenance or equipment issues immediately
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and presentable
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Experience/Skill in Flatbed (Required)
- Clean driving record (MVR required prior to interview)
- 3–5 years of experience preferred
- Experience hauling long trailers
- Ability to safely back and maneuver a 50’ trailer
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement
- Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
- ELD experience preferred
- Reliable smartphone and GPS navigation skills
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Ability to climb, bend, crouch, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift straps/chains throughout the day
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 per hour
