Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across diverse routes with precision and professionalism. In this role, you'll operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tankers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR driving routes.
- Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit.
- Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and hazardous goods handling protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or unforeseen issues to maintain momentum on delivery timelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving, freight delivery, or automobile transportation.
- Demonstrated ability seeto operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with logistics cargo handling procedures for various freight types such as tankers, or hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazard communication protocols, and hazardous materials regulations.
- Prior experience in delivery driving or over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type operated; endorsements for hazmat or tanker loads
- Strong understanding of GPS navigation tools and route planning strategies to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $280,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
