About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Leader to oversee the upkeep and reliability of our facility's equipment and systems. In this role, you will champion a culture of safety, optimize maintenance processes, and ensure operational efficiency. Your expertise in preventive maintenance, coupled with your leadership abilities, will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement through effective training, development, and performance management.
- Champion preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of plant assets, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Manage departmental costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Oversee and prioritize the daily activities of the maintenance department, ensuring timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Safety, Quality, Production, and Shipping & Receiving, to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate plant projects, including design and development, equipment overhauls, and machine relocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Serve as a liaison for regulatory inspections, including state, federal, and insurance inspections, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to apply a systematic and scientific approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms).
- Solid understanding of LOTO, basic PLC, VFD, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with machine shop equipment, such as welders, grinders, lathes, and cutting equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Experience with CMMS systems and inventory management practices.
- Knowledge of capital project processes and ROI analysis.
