Practice Operations Lead
Dermatology Practice | Full-Time | New York, NY
About Us
We are opening a new state-of-the-art dermatology practice rooted in clinical rigor, Korean innovation, high-end hospitality, and a genuine devotion to the patient experience. We are a small, talented team excited to build something meaningful.
The Role
We are looking for a Practice Operations Lead to own the operations of our flagship clinic. This is an internal operations role, responsible for the systems, workflows, and infrastructure that let our clinical team do their best work.
You will help us build the operational foundation of the practice before we open our doors, and you will grow with us as we expand. If you are a self-starter who thrives in an early-stage environment, takes real ownership, and has the clinical operations experience to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare the clinic for opening: vendor contracts, supply setup, compliance documentation, and staff onboarding logistics
- Own clinical workflow operations: staff scheduling, room turnover protocols, equipment readiness, and day-to-day clinical coordination
- Manage supply ordering, inventory par levels, and vendor relationships for clinical and medical supplies
- Administer and maintain the EMR/EHR system; serve as the internal point of contact for system questions and staff training
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and relevant clinical documentation standards; maintain required logs and records
- Partner with the dermatologist and clinical team to identify operational gaps and build systems that fix them
- Document SOPs and operational playbooks as the practice grows
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a medical practice, dermatology office, or specialty clinic in an operations, office management, or clinical coordination capacity
- Hands-on familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation workflows
- Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance, OSHA standards, and clinical record-keeping requirements
- Track record of managing vendor relationships, supply ordering, and inventory in a clinical environment
- Self-directed and organized, natural problem solver
- Collaborative and calm; you earn the trust of clinical staff by being reliable, professional, and low-drama
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to build something from the ground up
Why Join Us
- Ground-floor opportunity: help build and define a flagship clinic from day one, not just fill a seat in an existing system
- Direct access to practice leadership and a board-certified dermatologist who values operational excellence
- A clear growth path as the practice expands
- Competitive salary and a professional environment that reflects the highest standards of medical care
