Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct nursing unit activities to ensure high-quality patient care, Efficient nursing operations within AnMed’s Adult Surgical/ Pediatrics department
- Oversee all nursing staff personnel, including scheduling and performance management
- Direct and monitor unit quality initiatives and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience
- Supervisory Experience required
- Master's degree required within three (3) years of date of hire. If the Master's Degree is not in nursing then BSN is required with a Master's Degree in related field as approved by the Director/ AVP or CNO.
- Certification in nursing executive (NE-BC) or nursing executive, advance (NEA-BC) or ability to obtain within 24 months is required.
- Continues to learn and grow professionally through accepting assignments with differing nursing staff training initiatives, clinical development programs, and involvement in professional organization.
