General Description/Purpose
The role of the Doorperson is to be the first point of contact for shareholders and provide outstanding service to the residents/owners. The primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents, monitoring building security, managing access control, assisting with transportation requests, assisting with luggage, and handling package deliveries. The doorperson plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-organized environment for the building’s residents and visitors.
Essential Duties
- Greet and assist all shareholders, residents, guests, and vendors professionally and courteously
- Assist with building access, vendor check-in, deliveries, packages, transportation requests, and other resident services
- Monitor the front drive, building entrances, and security cameras and report security or safety concerns to management
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairways, restrooms, amenities, and other assigned areas
- Remove garbage, recycling, compost, and other waste in accordance with building procedures
- Hang and remove curtains, drapes, pictures, and similar items as directed
- Move furniture, baggage, equipment, supplies, and other items as required
- Perform routine repairs and provide care to building apparatus and equipment as necessary for their continuous operation and function, within the employee's recognized skill and scope of work
- Report leaks, damage, unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, and other building concerns to management
- Assist with emergency situations, urgent cleaning, spills, water intrusion, and other conditions requiring immediate attention
- Maintain janitorial equipment, tools, supplies, and assigned work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Comply with all Royal Towers standards, including the employee handbook and collective bargaining agreement
- Comply with all safety regulations and practices
- Perform other assignments at the Employer's discretion
- Other duties as assigned

Work Experience Requirement
- Must be able to convey ideas and information clearly
- Valid U.S Driver License
- US Citizen or other eligibility to legally work in the U.S.A.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and move for extended periods of time
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs or service ramps
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping
- Operate janitorial equipment, hand tools, and other equipment necessary to perform assigned duties
- Work with cleaning chemicals and products in accordance with applicable safety procedures and manufacturer instructions
- Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and conditions
- Perform duties in areas that may be wet, damp, dusty, or exposed to cleaning products
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance appropriate for the position
