Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier and Food Service Clerk to join our team. This position combines food service responsibilities with general convenience store duties. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation at the service counter, provide excellent customer service at the register, and help maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized store environment. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have an interest in both food service and retail operations.
This role required weekend and evening availability.
Due to federal and state tobacco regulations, we can only consider applicants who are 21 years of age or older.
Duties
Clerking & Customer Service:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the register.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Answer customer questions and assist with product or food selections.
Food Service:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in cooking and serving tasks as directed by the Store Manager.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant food service counter.
Stocking & Store Upkeep:
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure product availability.
- Rotate stock and check expiration dates to maintain product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of both the kitchen and retail areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
