Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Locum CRNA to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team in San Antonio, Texas. This is a locum/travel opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.
You will provide anesthesia care across a diverse surgical and procedural case mix while working alongside a dedicated group of medical professionals in a setting that follows nationally recognized standards of care. Multiple positions may be available, offering the opportunity to be part of a strong, team-oriented practice.
What You’ll Do
- Provide anesthesia care for orthopedic, urology, general surgery, GI, and GYN cases
- Support safe perioperative care, including pre-anesthesia preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia handoff as appropriate
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and procedural teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols and clinical standards
- Adapt to variable scheduling needs while supporting consistent coverage and continuity of care
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with current certification
- Active Texas APRN/RN licensure preferred
- Experience with orthopedic, urology, general, GI, and GYN cases
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively in a flexible, team-based clinical environment
Schedule & Coverage
- Schedule options may include 2x12-hour shifts plus 2x8-hour shifts, or 4x10-hour shifts
- One day off per week based on scheduler needs
- No set days; schedule may vary based on coverage requirements
