Job Description:
Hiring Local Drivers in Newark, NJ! Hazmat/Tanker and TWIC ALL required.
Get home daily with intermodal freight. One night out per week may be required.
- $1,650-$2,200 weekly average, paid by the move
- Home Daily, Home Weekends. One layover per week may be required depending on freight needs.
- Intermodal freight either from the port or from the InterAtlas warehouse
- Previous port experience REQUIRED
- Hazmat/Tanker and TWIC ALL required.
LIMITED TIME: $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience within the last 5 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED
- TWIC Card REQUIRED
- Port experience REQUIRED
- Valid CDL-A License
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving and safety record
- Ability to legally work in the United States
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections
- Availability for one layover per week
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations
- Complete local and regional pickups and deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management
- Represent InterAtlas professionally at customer sites and ports
- Support safe, on-time delivery operations every day
Wage Range: 1650.00 - 2200.00 per week
