Contract Delivery Helper – Final Mile Furniture Delivery
We are seeking a dependable Contract Delivery Helper to assist with final mile furniture deliveries and in-home furniture assembly. This position requires heavy lifting, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a two-person delivery team.
Schedule:
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Start time: 6:00 AM
- End time: Route completion
Location:
- Daily start and end location: Garner, NC
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture.
- Safely deliver furniture into customers' homes.
- Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (75–150+ lbs. with a team).
- Previous furniture delivery or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the Garner, NC dispatch location.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work until the daily route is complete.
- Must be eligible to obtain access to U.S. military installations, as some deliveries require entry onto military bases.
- Must be able to successfully pass any background screening or security requirements necessary for military base access, including having no disqualifying or outstanding felony convictions.
This is a contract position with opportunities for consistent weekly work based on performance.
Pay: From $120.00 per day
