Audit Senior - Public Accounting (Hybrid / Pleasant Hill, CA)
About the Role
Are you a skilled auditor who excels in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a strong Audit Senior to join our team in a hybrid capacity out of our Pleasant Hill, CA office.
In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements, work closely with public company clients, and mentor junior staff. If you have deep experience with PCAOB standards and want a role where your technical expertise can shine, we would love to connect!
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage public and private company financial statement audits from planning through completion.

Apply strict PCAOB standards and SEC regulations to ensure compliance and top-tier audit quality.

Perform risk assessments, review internal controls, and execute complex testing procedures.

Supervise, train, and provide meaningful feedback to audit staff and interns.

Act as a main point of contact for clients to answer questions and resolve issues quickly.

Work efficiently under tight timelines in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting.

Technical Focus: Strong background working with PCAOB standards and SEC filings.

Industry Focus: Experience with life sciences or bio-tech industry clients is a major plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certification: Active CPA license is preferred, or actively pursuing eligibility to sit for the exam.

Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, great communication, and a highly adaptable mindset.
