Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Busser, you will assist the waitstaff by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in customer service roles and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next diners.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing utensils.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and food quality.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Support the kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Basic knowledge of food service operations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
