Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is vital in ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will manage production teams, coordinate with various departments, and implement continuous process improvements to optimize output and safety compliance. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet production goals while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards. Shift: flexible evening shift responsible for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing personnel on the production floor, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage assembly line operations, including monitoring production schedules, adjusting workflows, and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly techniques to ensure precise and safe manufacturing practices.
- Manufacturing documents and process instructions to guide team members and train accordingly.
- Enforce safety protocols in accordance with industry standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards in production.
- Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Train new team members on manufacturing procedures, safety standards, and the proper use of tools and equipment.
- Monitor team performance through regular evaluations, providing coaching and feedback to foster a high-performance work environment.
- This role is a hands-on supervisor, need someone that help in the process if needed to maintain flow of production. Evaluate how the process and flow can be improved.
Skills
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a strong understanding of production processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other mechanical assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills managing production or assembly teams with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvements for efficiency gains.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents such as work orders, process sheets, and technical specifications.
- Technical proficiency with manufacturing management software or systems used for tracking production metrics.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across departments and training team members effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety standards in production areas.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
