The Camp Victory Summer Staff are team members of the Camp Victory team for their summer programs. Camp Victory is located in Mannford, Oklahoma. Camp Victory is a place where campers have the opportunity to pull out of their everyday lives, put away any distractions, and experience God’s presence unencumbered. Summer Staff members are responsible for assisting and participating in the following job duties: Supervision of campers, administering behavior protocol as directed, administering all medical protocol as directed (CPR, etc.), verbal and physical assistance, and completes all other tasks as directed. A primary function at Camp Victory is to ensure that each member, guest, and visitor receives the highest caliber of service and the love of Jesus.
Must be 18 years old or older

Ability to motivate children and maintain a positive atmosphere
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for all campers and families.
All employees, regardless of position, serve as role models for children and adolescents who are served by our ministry. Therefore, each employee must at all times be emotionally stable and able to function effectively with children, adolescents and adults who may have mental or behavioral health problems. The staff must be able to demonstrate appropriate behavior, expression of emotions, as well as role modeling.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

Physical exertion such as standing, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting and reaching; and walk a short to long distances on moderately to extreme steep terrain without difficulty. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child;

Manual dexterity with the use of hands, fingers to feel objects, tools, and controls; Sighted with color, peripheral, near, and far vision;

Hearing and speaking;

Excellent English communication skills.

Majority of work time will be outdoors in extreme heat and occasionally indoor in a climate-controlled building.

Willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours with limited or simple equipment and facilities; and with daily exposure to the sun, heat, bugs and animals that are natural to for a forest setting.
