Seeking an experienced Welder with strong MIG welding skills to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Candidates should be comfortable setting up their own welds and working safely in an industrial/fabrication environment.
Must-Have Requirements
- 2+ years of MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to set up and perform welds independently
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience preparing, measuring, cutting, aligning, and fitting materials
- Ability to inspect completed welds for quality and specifications
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures
Preferred Skills
- TIG welding experience
- Flux Core welding experience
- Submerged Arc (Sub-Arc) welding experience
- Stick welding and general metal fabrication experience
- Welding certification
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and other welding processes on metal components
- Set up welding equipment and materials for production
- Weld in various positions, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead
- Inspect welds and make repairs or modifications as needed
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements
Interview Requirement: Candidates will be required to complete a weld test during the interview process.
