About Us
Climate Control Resources LLC has been delivering expert HVAC/R solutions for over 20 years. We specialize in commercial and industrial systems (70%), with additional work in niche applications and some residential projects. We’re seeking an experienced, motivated HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, cooling towers, and commercial refrigeration (ammonia experience a plus).
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and design plans.
- Perform field service calls, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., ohmmeters), welding equipment, and maintain accurate service records.
- Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with project managers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with strong problem-solving skills, especially in unconventional situations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial/residential HVAC experience strongly preferred (stronger candidates with less experience will be considered and thoroughly evaluated).
- Solid mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills on large-scale systems (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, etc.).
- Experience with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia), automated controls, and basic electrical work.
- EPA 608 certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Mechanically inclined with own basic trade tools.
- Proficient with laptops/tablets and field service software (BuildOps or ServiceTitan experience a plus).
- Reliable, safety-focused, self-motivated, and excellent communicator.
- Willing to work occasional overtime, on-call shifts, and limited out-of-town travel.
Bonus Qualifications:
Knowledge of automated controls, boiler experience (especially hospital/industrial), and a strong desire to keep learning new skills.
Working Conditions
- Physically demanding work: lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, ladders, crawl spaces, roofs, and mechanical rooms.
- Exposure to commercial, industrial, and occasional residential environments.
- Must be safety-conscious and follow OSHA/EPA standards.
