Child Care Teacher

Shift: Full-Time & Part Time - Mon. - Fri. 12pm - 6pm
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team, where you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This position involves working with children from infants to school agers, focusing on their overall development and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development principles and possess excellent classroom management skills. Someone that loves children and wants them to be successful each day.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging lessons that promote learning and development in accordance with early childhood education standards.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with disabilities and special educational needs.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childcare and education.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with special needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are a plus but not mandatory.
