We are seeking an energetic and motivated Exercise Specialist/ Physical Therapy Tech to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in exercise science, kinesiology, sports, strength & conditioning, physical therapy, or a related field who enjoys working directly with clients and wants hands-on experience in a performance-focused physical therapy and wellness environment.
Our practice combines evidence-based rehabilitation with advanced performance and wellness services. You'll gain hands-on experience assisting with VO2 Max testing, body composition analysis, strength assessments, and rehabilitation programs while working alongside experienced clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient treatments and exercise programs
- Guide clients through prescribed therapeutic and strengthening exercises
- Help set up and operate exercise, rehabilitation, and performance equipment
- Work with clients of all ages and ability levels, from active adults and younger athletes to older adults
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment environment
- Provide a welcoming, high-quality client experience
- Assist with light administrative and front-desk responsibilities as needed
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a background or strong interest in sports, exercise science, kinesiology, strength training, or physical therapy
- Is professional, dependable, personable, and energetic
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys interacting with people
- Takes initiative and works well in a team environment
- Is interested in learning about physical therapy, strength training, injury prevention, performance testing, and recovery
- Must have afternoon/evening availability
- Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field
- Experience in athletics, fitness, coaching, or rehabilitation is a plus
